These Terms of Service govern the use of this website and the provision of products and services by Impressive Batteries Pty Ltd (IB, we, us, our). By using our website, requesting a quote, accepting a proposal, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Impressive Batteries is a signatory to the New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) and operates in accordance with its requirements.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, requesting services, accepting a quotation, paying a deposit, or signing an agreement with us, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.

These terms apply in addition to any written contract, quotation, proposal, or other agreement issued by Impressive Batteries.

2. Website Information

The information contained on this website is provided for general information purposes only.

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure information is accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any information, product specifications, pricing, performance estimates, or other content published on this website.

Information may be updated, amended, or removed without notice.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree that all information provided to us regarding your property, energy usage, existing electrical infrastructure, and eligibility for rebates or incentives is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining any necessary owner, landlord, strata, or body corporate approvals
  • Providing safe and reasonable access to the property where inspections or installation works are required
  • Ensuring all information supplied to Impressive Batteries is accurate and current

Any additional works required due to unforeseen site conditions or non-compliant infrastructure will be discussed with you before proceeding.

4. Government Incentives and STCs

Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) and other government incentives may form part of your proposal.

By accepting a quotation that includes point-of-sale discounts relating to STCs or other incentives, you agree to assign the relevant rights and benefits to Impressive Batteries where required.

If you are not eligible for a rebate, incentive, or STC assignment included within your proposal, you may be required to pay the difference between the discount applied and the value ultimately received.

If government policy or incentive programs materially change before installation occurs, either party may terminate the agreement and any refund will be assessed in accordance with the applicable contract terms.

5. Installation Services

Impressive Batteries provides battery storage, solar power, EV charging, and related energy solutions.

Installations are completed by licensed and accredited installation partners, including our sister company Impressive Electrical & Solar.

Installation timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including weather events, supplier delays, network approvals, safety considerations, or site access issues.

Ownership of supplied equipment remains with Impressive Batteries until payment has been received in full.

6. System Performance

Any performance estimates, energy forecasts, savings projections, or payback calculations are based on available information and industry-standard modelling tools.

Actual system performance may vary due to factors including weather conditions, shading, equipment performance, electricity usage patterns, tariff changes, and other circumstances outside our control.

For this reason, Impressive Batteries cannot guarantee specific energy production or financial outcomes.

7. Warranties and Consumer Guarantees

Manufacturer warranties apply to individual system components supplied as part of your installation.

Impressive Batteries also provides workmanship warranties in accordance with the terms outlined in your proposal and contract documentation.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund where required by law.

8. Cooling-Off, Cancellations and Refunds

Customers may be entitled to cooling-off rights, cancellation rights, and refunds in accordance with the terms of their proposal, contract, and applicable consumer laws.

Detailed information regarding cooling-off periods, cancellation rights, and refund entitlements is contained within the contract documentation provided to customers before acceptance.

9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Impressive Batteries is committed to resolving customer concerns fairly, efficiently, and in accordance with NETCC requirements.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly — by email at info@impressivebatteries.com.au or by post at Unit 2, 8–18 Kareena Road, Miranda NSW 2228.

Where possible, complaints will be acknowledged and investigated promptly. If additional time is required, we will keep you informed throughout the process. Full details are set out in our Complaints Handling Procedure.

If a complaint cannot be resolved directly with Impressive Batteries, customers may contact the administrator of the New Energy Tech Consumer Code or the relevant consumer protection authority within their state or territory.

This website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience.

Impressive Batteries is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party websites.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, images, branding, and other material, remains the property of Impressive Batteries unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, Impressive Batteries is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products, services, or website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any agreements with Impressive Batteries are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
